Description: The small-flowered lily of the valley is steadily becoming more popular. Its light fragrance and classic look make it ideal for small bouquets, especially in weddings. It can be available year round but the peak times are from December through June. The Lily of the Valley typically lasts for seven to ten days.

How to care for your lily of the valleys:

• Upon arrival about half of the flowers should be open, a sign of freshness.
• Treat the lilies with an ethylene inhibitor to enhance their lifespan.
• Place the cut stems in a clean container of warm water and flower food solution.
• Place the lilies in the cooler with temperatures of 34 to 36 degrees only.
• Before you use the lilies in a design, be sure to treat them with an anti-transpirant in order to ensure the stems do not wilt.
